Felix: “Why haven’t we done what the climate-scientists recommended? Even if we learn in 40 years that climate change wasn’t so bad, what we’re doing today will still have been a positive thing to do. Because if we don’t do something now and learn in 50 years that the climate-skeptics were wrong, then it will already be too late.” The shaping of our future should not be left to the adults alone.
In our book "Tree by Tree. Now we children save the world", Felix and his friends show how they are committed to a better and more sustainable future for their own and future generations on this planet.
The book explains climate change - in a relatively simple way - and shows many examples of how children and adults, in their own everyday lives and with little acts, can also be active. It explains how they can do this through a commitment to Plant for the Planet, by organising Plant-for-the-Planet Academies and planting parties. Tree by Tree is a story of courage and a hands-on book for all generations. The book follows Felix's motto: "Stop talking. Start planting" because talking alone will not stop the climate crisis.
